The Shore Club Private Collection is the residential heart of a once-in-a-generation reinvention of one of Miami Beach's most storied oceanfront properties. On three acres at 1901 Collins Avenue, Witkoff and Monroe Capital are transforming the historic Shore Club, first completed in 1949, into a boutique five-star resort operated by Auberge Resorts Collection, alongside a collection of just 49 private homes that combine the seclusion of a boutique residence with the service of a world-class hotel. Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the firm behind 15 Central Park West and 220 Central Park South in New York, designed both the architecture and the residential interiors in its first-ever oceanfront commission, working with Miami's Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design. The residences are divided among three distinct but related buildings. A new 18-story tower rising about 200 feet above the beach draws on classic yacht design and the rhythm of waves, its rounded tiers creating sweeping terraces and floor plans that are rarely alike. Behind the restored Art Deco facade of the 1939 Cromwell House, a small group of residences and a penthouse have been reimagined, and a single-family Beach House sits directly on the sand surrounded by gardens. Homes range from two to six bedrooms, with interiors that reference fine yachts through mahogany and oak, nickel and brass accents, curving walls, and arched windows, while large glass walls open living spaces onto deep terraces facing the Atlantic and the Miami Beach skyline. Residents arrive through a discreet porte-cochère on 20th Street in the landmarked Cromwell House and enter a sculptural double-height lobby overlooking the botanical gardens and the architectural colonnade inspired by the original Shore Club columns. Exclusive amenities include a private residential pool set in the gardens, a 75-foot lap pool and leisure pool, a fitness club with private training suites, a library, and lounges, with landscape design by Nathan Browning of Island Planning Corporation. Auberge extends its tailored service into each home with concierge, housekeeping, in-residence dining, and sommelier services, and residents enjoy the resort's spa, a beach club with dedicated cabana service, a signature restaurant, a poolside café and bar, and a double-height café and bar leading to an outdoor lounge. Pricing began at approximately $6 million, and all three buildings are scheduled to open together in 2027.
